First Sunday Post – Borneo wild Beach of Bako National Park

Bako National Park

Bako National Park is the oldest national park in Sarawak, eastern Malaysia, on the  island Borneo.  That night I had a very bad sleep in a rundown jungle bungalow and was happy to finally get up at 6:30 am to explore the area.

On my way to the shore I saw some Proboscis Monkeys  jumping from tree to tree. I went along the shore and found that beautiful spot with the view on the picture. All I heared were birds. It was as silent as the picture itself. I enjoyed the morning hour, with a wide view into this somehow dead yet vivid landscape.

This place was so peaceful. Simple and so purely beautiful.
